Malaysia
Malaysia is located in South East Asia, and is in two parts. The Western part is known as Peninsular Malaysia, and it is for this that Peninsular Gold is named.
Malaysia is a country of excellent infrastructure, with roads, airports and services all of a high quality. Malaysia is also politically stable, and benefits from a fair legal system based on English law.
The government of Malaysia is supportive of mining, and has put in place a modern mining code. Malaysia has stringent environmental laws and regulations, with which Peninsular will continue to comply. Labour costs in Malaysia are relatively low.
